The Teifi pools are located in a area of the Cambrian mountains once known as ‘The great desert of Wales’ – a remote treeless moorland where red kites and buzzards wheel over head.
Home to wild brown trout which rise freely to floating line and wet fly tactics, these lakes (llyns) offer fantastic sport and solitude in scenery which is hard to beat anywhere in the UK. Another lake called Llyn Berwyn also offers wonderful sport, and the upper river Teifi which rises in these lakes is known world wide for brown, sea trout and salmon fishing.
We recommend you fish: The Teifi pools.
The video below was shot on the Teifi pools with the late, great, Moc Morgan who was a local angler. It really sums up the wilderness fishing on offer here!
