Perhaps one of the largest angling associations in terms of waters available, MTAA offer a vast amount of fishing in South and Mid Wales. From world class trout dry fly fishing on the rivers Taff and Usk, prime salmon fishing, specimen pike and coarse angling on large lakes, to small stream brook fishing and windswept upland reservoirs for rainbow and brown trout, the shear amount of fishable water on offer makes this club simply incredible value for day and season permit anglers alike.

We recommend you try:

Cantref reservoir – Wild browns and stocked rainbows, in the heart of the Brecon Beacons on the A470. Great bank fishing, especially on a summer evening with floating line and traditional wet flies..

The Taff Fechan river – Delightful small stream fishing for wild trout in beautiful surroundings.

Pontsticll Reservoir – Great coarse fishing. Fish for bream, pike and perch all year round.
