Fishtec/PSM/Celtic League Match Final Results

21st October was the final Fishtec league match of 2012. As the boats were tackling up the sun was bright and the wind was low with the odd few fish rising outside of the jetty. Most anglers were setting up with di3’s and fast glass fly lines and brightly coloured blob and booby type flies. Word had got round that Llandegfedd double up on the amount of stockies so it was on with the bright and gory, fish provoking flies.

Overall-Individual celtic fishtec league match

For the Second time in 5 years, our Online Marketing Manager for Fishtec and Nymphomaniac. Kieron Jenkins took top individual rod. Winning the overall trophy, an Airflo Airlite Nantec fly rod and a gold medal. Fellow Nympho Dean Kibble took 2nd position, and was lucky enough to win the first league match of the year.

It’s clear to say that the League match is undoubtedly THE competition to fish in Wales and it’s been said for the last three years that the calibre of Welsh anglers has increased no end and most are praising the Fishtec league match for this.

Another congratulations goes to all our sponsors, Scott and PSM, Celtic Fly craft, Welsh Water and Fly Fishing Tackle Retailer, Fishtec. Without the continued help and support from all our sponsors there would be no incentive to fish competitions and the league wouldn’t be worth running.
