Kinermony Fishings is privately owned, with around 1.5 miles of right bank fishing with 6 named pools fished by 3 rods. Below Kinermony lies the Aberlour Angling Association and the beat directly above is the majestic Delagyle.

Wester Elchies lies opposite and the fly water is simply terrific. Kinermony is currently fully let throughout the season, and with a 5 year average catch of 188 Salmon, has the highest single rod average above the Craigellachie bridge. Conservation is a high priority and in 2011 we released 92% of our catch.

In the past and previous years Jock has also represented Scotland at International level, and is currently Captain of  team Alba.

Stan has represented Scotland in the senior international team as a competitive fly fisherman in 1991 & ’92, and again in 2007, 2008 & 2009. In 1990, he was the Scottish National Fly Fishing Champion.

Gordon first qualified as a Professional Game Angling instructor in 2004. He has since then conducted guiding and coaching at various venues, rivers  and fisheries throughout England, Wales and Scotland, as well as supporting where possible the Game Angling Instructors Association and the Salmon & Trout Association at various County Shows and Fairs.

During that time, he has offered the novice and experienced fishers  a variety of events that he knows he would have appreciated in his formative years, in fact these events have evolved into a four year ‘continued personal developement programme’ for the the fly fisher, running during the year to accommodate any level of angler regardless of experience.

Alberto has proven his ability both to demonstrate and teach fly fishing techniques and methods. Tuition is offered for beginners, intermediate and advanced levels using structured methods designed to suit different levels of skill. Instruction is available on an hourly, half day or full day basis. As a full member of the GAIA Alberto is covered with full third party insurance to £5,000,000 for himself and anyone teaching with him.
